Specific natural stones are said to help relieve specific ailments such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia, or more physical ailments such as digestive problems. Crystals have the ability to communicate with the energy flow of the human body and help to realign the energy channels that are interrupting the natural flow of the body and help it heal itself.

Sound therapy is similar to music therapy in that it uses sound vibration to restore balance and health. However, a music therapist may use instruments or singing to help a client process emotions or communicate while a sound healer will use pure sounds such as singing bowls, tuning forks, tuning tubes, and gongs.

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body/mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health. It is based on the idea that all matter (including the human body) is vibrating at specific frequencies.
